The JLPT has five levels: N1, N2, N3, N4 and N5. The easiest level is N5 and the most difficult level is N1.

In the first 40 hours of N5, you will learn to read and write in hiragana, katakana, and Kanji. In this course, you will learn 1/3rd part of the N5 level. The Japanese Language Proficiency Test's N5 level is the most fundamental level, and all that is required of you to pass it is a fundamental understanding of Japanese. The N5 level assures that you are able to grasp basic phrases and common expressions written in hiragana, katakana, and basic kanji as well as through spoken dialogues. This is the minimum need for passing the JLPT N5 exam.
